SURVEILLANCE VIDEO

WHAT WE SEE
This surveillance video was shot at the East Shore Marina on the night and day of 16 – 17 March 1995. The whole file is quite large (over 1.2GB) and mostly devoid of any meaningful action. I have edited the file into interesting chunks which I deem to have some significance. There are two cameras at work here.
Camera 1 is the large image. The camera was installed on a small building close by the dock and the boat launch area.
The second camera was located on the admin building just off Wharf Street. It’s image is the smaller inset.

THREE BOYS PASSING CAMERA
At 01:48 17 March 1995, three of the missing youth were caught walking in front of Camera 1. They were Jamie Lefebvre, Robbie Rumboldt and Michael Cummins.
There are two things of note in this clip:
1. The boys walk single file, equally spaced. This may mean something or not. We cannot see what they’re walking on, generally, this would not be the pattern of three friends. 2. Two of the three have their heads down as if trying to hide their faces.
At this time, where were Jamie Boyle, Chad Smith and Danny Higgins?

PERSONS WITH LARGE BAG
At 0:15 a car is seen driving into the marina. You can see it enter on Camera 1. It then drives toward the service area and makes a right turn to park next to a pickup truck. This is seen on Camera 2.

Two persons get out of the car move around the outside a couple of times then pick out a large bag which one tosses over his shoulder. Both persons then walk to the left across the camera view.
That car remained for almost 1 hour before driving out.

THREE PERSONS LOITER WHILE BOYS IN AREA
This is the most troubling clip from the video. The boys were seen on Camera 1 at 01:48 on 17 March. This clip starts at 02:09.
At 02:10 three persons are seen waking into the service from the left. They walk most of the way across the yard and stop. One person has separated away from the other two and appears to be pointing (something?) at them.
About thirty seconds after they enter the yard, they disappear.
Who were they? It appears to be one male and two females. This activity occurs 20 minutes after the three boys’ march into the yard. Did this second trio see or hear anything? Where they identified and questioned by police?

ONE PERSON ENTERS AT 0:27
Although there is nothing remarkable with this clip, it is interesting to note how busy the site was after midnight.
